Today we performed our play to the whole school!

The best things  in school is the teachers and PE. this half term we are learning about outerspace.

Leon wants to learn about the planets.

Liam wants to know if the moon is made of cheese.

Rosey wants to know if the earth is actually safe.

Leonie wants to know abut the first moon landing.

Can anyone do the moonwalk easier in space?

why do you float everywhere?

Why did a monkey go to space first?

What is the moon made off?

We are doing a play. I want to be the main part -Liam! Mrs Jones will be happy because she loves singing.

Already we are learning about science fiction stories. Leon cant believe the different alien languages in some texts!

In Top Maths we was getting ready for our maths tests next week.We were using the methods that we had leant in the past like adding,subtracting,multipaction and divion. Some people are not worried ,some people are a bit worried and some people are realy worried about the tests next week.We did all of our practice on white boards and we did some jottings to help us get the right answer.

For the past thew weeks we have been doing tudor dance for our tuesday P.E.. We have been doing tudor dance because we have been learning all about tudors and what the did,who they were,what they used and what they wore. In the process of P.E. we did step tap step tap and so on.

Yesterday we started are E-Saftey posters.We had to think of a design to put on our posters.Before we started we watched an video called Jigsaw,it showed us how to keep safe on the internet.On our posters we had to show how to be safe on the internet.The prize of the contest is a voucher (we know it might be over £15)  to GAME,1 person from each year group will get a prize.

In comprehension we did  answering questions about shakespears theature the globe.To be able to answer questions we needed a text. a lot of us got right near near the end but only  one person (shadyn) nearly finished C.In topic we have been doing tudors on monday we went to a tudor house (gainsbrough old hall)

This week we have been learning about king Henry and his 6 wives here are the names of Henry six wives (we will put them in order of time) Catherine of Aragon,Anne Boyeln,Jane Seymour,Anne of cleves,Kathryn Howard and finally Katherine Parr.

We did some movies to match our poems and we finished them and then we went to 4sa and they showed us their poems and then we had 30 seconds to chat to someone near us/next to us about how it could inprove it and if we liked or not and why, we were gonna show them ours but we couldn’t get it to come up.

In literacy we did handriting and we read a poem together and then we answered some questions about it.

In top set-mathes we did some subtractions then we did some fractions using rectangles , there where some arrows for us to rule a little line with it and we had to do the same with some circles.

In spelling attack we did a new sound witch was sk and then we spelled some words begining with sk like skint or skin.
